The biggest platform for most artists in these moderns times is social media. A space that not one person owns, designed to feed you content in one ear out the other, that could all disappear at the click of a billionaires button. Artists do not create content they bleed, not for pennies or pity, but for relief. This project consists of 35mm diptychs current and archival from photographer Kyran James Nerland challenging your interpretation of art through this digital landscape in contrast to the experience of reality. These photos will only exist as highly quality prints for an unknown period of time before being archived and moved on from. Because everything is temporary, especially the internet.
